Bleeding

Bleeding poetic ink

Into plain paper –

Naïve words of imitated

Knowledge

Knowledge, unaccounted and bleak,

Broken words of

Love letters,

Evening sorrows,

And everything in-between a

Keepsake for us to reminisce

Reminisce through words

Wake to lingering sentences

Of forgotten memories,

Remember them in verse –

Disjointed words

Stitched together through your lips.

Poem #22 is a Zymurgy. This one was super fun! I kind of didn’t want to stop but I had to because I have an essay to write and some study to get down to.

Also, crazy that it’s the 22nd day of NaPoWriMo, only 8 days, 8 poems and 8 new forms to go!
